Getting there

Kicking Horse is located high in the Dogtooth Range of the Purcell Mountains, just eight miles north of Golden, B.C. The resort is just 1.5 hours west of Banff and 2.5 hours west of Calgary on the Trans-Canada highway, making it ideal stop if you’re looking to rent a car and make a road trip out it. Calgary International Airport is the closest airport to Kicking Horse. Once you’ve arrived in Calgary you can hop in a rental car or a shuttle service.
